Bernard Busena is the Managing Partner at BERMA Advisory LLP and BERMA Accountants. He brings over 23 years of professional experience in corporate finance, audit and assurance, forensic audits, and financial accounting and reporting.

• •His career spans middle to senior roles at audit and consulting firms, serving clients across manufacturing, hospitality, health, agriculture, NGOs and public sector corporations.
• •He has led corporate finance and forensic audit assignments both locally and regionally, working with global clientele across a range of complex mandates.
• •He has hands on experience in project management, having project managed several projects.

Ambassador James brings 30 years of experience in fiscal, strategic and operations leadership across finance, auditing, banking, development finance and diplomacy, with a particular focus on SME financing and industrial development.

• •Served as Kenya's Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville) and the Central African Republic from 2010 to 2014.
• •Prior to his diplomatic service, Ambassador James served as Managing Director of Industrial Development Bank (IDB).
• •Director of Operations and IT at Housing Finance Company of Kenya (HFCK).

Daniel Muondu is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Public Accountant (CPA, K), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Internal Quality Assessor.

• •He brings over 20 years of international experience delivering directorship, strategy, risk management, governance, forensic, and internal audit solutions. He is also a Director and Co-Founder of Azizi Consulting Limited, a corporate risk advisory firm.
• •Daniel partners with clients to develop strategic plans, identify critical risks, and establish robust risk management frameworks. He has extensive hands-on experience implementing ISO 31000:2009, AS/NZS, and COSO Risk Management Frameworks.
• •He has deep expertise in the public sector, assisting Kenyan government agencies in aligning their operations with Kenya Vision 2030, the Constitution of Kenya, and the Public Finance Management Act 2012. Additionally, he has been instrumental in supporting National Wildlife and Forest Management Authorities across Africa (including Botswana, DRC, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Uganda) to develop Corruption & Fraud Risk Management Frameworks.

Patrick Rop is a Technical Partner at BERMA Advisory LLP, specializing in digital transformation advisory, IT delivery, and governance. With 14 years of Pan-African experience, he operates at the intersection of strategic intent, technical delivery, and change adoption to ensure technology investments translate into measurable business value.

• •He leads the technology advisory arm at BERMA, helping clients navigate complex digital transformations, facilitating governance forums, and steering end-to-end ERP implementations with a focus on operational readiness and business process reengineering.
• •He brings extensive multi-cloud and enterprise IT expertise, holding top-tier credentials including PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and Google Professional Cloud Architect.
• •He is the Founder and Director of the enterprise technology firm Novel Cloud Ltd (NCL), bringing firsthand entrepreneurial and executive leadership experience to his advisory practice.
